Jessica G. Clark
Estate Planning Paralegal
Mrs. Jessica (Jess) G. Clark is a paralegal at The Prue Law Group, P.C. She is a graduate of Quinnipiac University’s class of 2008 where she majored in both Political Science and in Legal Studies.
Jess began working with The Prue Law Group in 2012. In 2015, she moved out of state for a year and a half, but in 2017, Jess moved back to Connecticut to be closer to family, and also returned to her position as a paralegal, We have been incredibly grateful to have Jess back. Not only is Jess amazing at what she does, she’s also a great source of comedic relief for everyone. Our office and our clients greatly benefit from Jess having joined our amazing team of legal professionals.
Hollie M. LaFrance
Probate Paralegal
Mrs. Hollie M. LaFrance is a probate paralegal at the Prue Law Group, P.C. She is an alumni of Johnson & Wales University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Paralegal Studies.
When Hollie first came to the Prue Law Group, she was an integral part of our real estate practice where she was able to apply her knowledge from pre-closing to post-closing matters. After spending 17 yrs coordinating with real estate agents, lenders and title companies, Hollie was ready for a change. Wishing to further expand her knowledge of the legal field, Hollie joined the Estate Settlement and Probate Department here at the Prue Law Group. Her innate ability to work closely with all clients is a valued asset in this field. The settlement of an individual’s estate can be stressful and complicated. Her patience and ease in explaining procedures, and her communication skills make her a welcome addition to this area of law. But not to be forgotten, there will be times when a complex closing will cross her desk and her real estate knowledge will be put to use.
Hollie is definitely a pleasant addition to our team and a great benefit to our clients. In her spare time, she navigates the world of raising 3 sons while enjoying biking, hiking, and going out for a good run.
Franchesca M. Pescatello
Probate Paralegal
Ms. Franchesca M. Pescatello is a paralegal at the Prue Law Group, P.C. She is a graduate of The Woodstock Academy, class of 2017 and earned her legal assistant certification in June 2019 from Quinebaug Valley Community College. She is currently enrolled in Roger Williams University of Continuing Education working towards obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies. She has quickly become an invaluable member of our team here at the Prue Law Group, P.C. assisting in the area of Estate Settlement, Probate and Personal Injury.
Her ambition, demeanor and understanding of legal processes have proven to be essential not only for our attorneys but all our clients. Her innate ability to communicate effectively with clients, makes her a supportive connection to deal with questions and ease any concern that comes with seeking legal assistance.
Outside of the office, Franchesca enjoys time spent with family and friends, watching her boyfriend’s motocross races, relaxing by the pool or on the beach, traveling and being outdoors.
Donna Costa
Paralegal
The Prue Law Group is happy to welcome Donna Costa to our family of paralegals, where her extensive experience will serve our staff and clients well. Her background has taken her from Rhode Island where she graduated from Roger Williams College to employment at several firms in the Ocean State all while gathering a very strong background in the fields of Estate Planning and Administration of Estates and Trusts. Moving to Connecticut she joined a firm with an emphasis on real estate which expanded her knowledge base adding another area of service to her abilities.
At The Prue Law Group, Donna will join the Trusts and Estates department allowing her to use her original background and knowledge of estate planning and probate administration. She also will be assisting our clients with their Title 19 and Elder Law needs. In addition, Donna will be our first point of contact for all our concierge service clients, managing finances and paying bills assisting them in their daily lives.
When she is not in the office, Donna enjoys reading, baking, gardening, kayaking and hiking. For several decades, Donna’s winter hobby has been genealogy. She has done vast research of her family tree and has identified many relatives who were the earliest settlers of eastern Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Allison Renfree
Paralegal
Mrs. Allison Renfree is a paralegal at The Prue Law Group, P.C. A resident of eastern Connecticut and alumnus of Eastern Connecticut State University, Allie was drawn to our firm to serve her community with their real estate needs. Graduating Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s degree in English Studies with a minor in Mathematic in Education has bolstered her ability to convey the legalese of closing documents and closing figures to clients. Professional, courteous, and friendly, The Prue Law Group is pleased that Allie changed her career path from certification in teaching grades 7-12 to real estate paralegal, as she has become an invaluable part of the real estate practice.
Outside of the office, Allie enjoys writing poetry and short stories, singing and playing the piano, hiking and spending time with her family. Fun fact! Allie witnessed the sincerity of The Prue Law Group Family when she got married right here in our office, with the entire staff joining in the celebration!
Nicole Meakem
Receptionist
Nicole Meakem is the receptionist at The Prue Law Group, P.C. She is the first person to greet you when you step off the elevator and into the office. Her vast experience in customer service contributes a calming atmosphere to what can be a stressful situation for the client. Nicole is always ready with a friendly greeting and a smile. She is conscientious and organized and is a great addition to the team.
